Manchester City's pursuit of the Premier League title remains on track after a convincing 4-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The victory saw City cut the Gunners' lead at the top of the table to just two points.
Kevin De Bruyne was the star of the show for City, scoring two goals and providing an assist. The Belgian midfielder curled home a delightful free-kick to open the scoring, before doubling City's advantage with a close-range finish. Erling Haaland then made it three goals in two games for City with a clinical strike, extending his remarkable goalscoring record to 49 goals in all competitions this season.
Arsenal pulled one back through Bukayo Saka, but that was all they could muster as City dominated the match. Jack Grealish capped off a fine team performance with a fourth goal late on, sealing the victory for the visitors.
The result leaves Arsenal with a precarious one-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table. City, meanwhile, have now won their last four Premier League games and are in a strong position to challenge for the title once again.
