Auburn Coach Hugh Freeze Addresses Michael Oher Lawsuit Against Tuohy Family

Auburn coach Hugh Freeze has offered his thoughts on the public dispute between Michael Oher and the Tuohy family. Freeze was Oher's head coach at Briarcest Christian School in Memphis and served as an assistant coach for the Ole Miss Rebels when Oher played there.

Longtime Friend of Tuohy Family

Freeze is also a longtime friend of Sean Tuohy, whose family was portrayed in the movie "The Blind Side." Oher is suing the Tuohys, claiming that they exploited him financially and emotionally.

Freeze's Perspective

"I love Michael Oher and the Tuohy family," Freeze said. "I've known them for a long time, and I'm praying for them during this difficult time." Freeze said he believes "the facts will come out" regarding the dispute. He declined to comment further, saying that he did not want to interfere in the legal process.
